Elliptical dish (also called elliptical head or elliptical end) is usually made with Carbon steel, stainless steel, austenitic and non ferritic metals that can be cold processed. The shape of this kind of elliptical dish is more economical, because the height of the head is just a fraction of the diameter. Its radius varies between the major and minor axis usually with the ratio 2:1. The elliptical dish is the economical solution for medium pressure tanks due to the reduced metal thickness requirement.
Our Malaysia customer Jacky sent us the inquiry of elliptical dish in earlier of this year and when we had the exhibition in Bintulu Malaysia this August, Jacky visited our booth and showed great interest in it. After discussing the details of elliptical dish, he wanted to visit our factory to see the manufacturing process in Tai’an city. Finally in this October, he took the flight and came to my factory to have a deep understanding of our product. He was very satisfied and like to give us an order of 40 pieces of it.
