Air compressor used air storage tank (also called air storage tank, buffer tank, etc.) is a common pressure vessel used to store gas, it is one of the our hot sale pressure vessel products. Depending on customer requirements, STRENGTH can produce ASME, CE(PED), GB150 (Chinese standard) high pressure, atmospheric pressure or low pressure air storage tanks.
In the end of April, 2023, we received an inquiry from Mexico. Then customer wanted to purchase air storage tank to air compressor equipment. In addition, customer provided air storage tank specific parameters, volume 2.2m3, working pressure 1MPa, the air inlet is NPT 1-1/2″ and the air outlet requires 1 NPT 1-1/2″, 3 NPT 1-1/2’’ and 2 NPT 1/2″. We design according to the customer’s requirements, the diameter is 1200mm, the height of the shell is 1500mmm, the air storage tank according to ASME standard with U stamp and MDR, paint is epoxy anticorrosive, Jotun brand, total thickness: 220um, top side :RAL3011.

After full communication with the customer, we issued the GA drawing to the customer. In fact, air storage tank started production at the early of May. During this period, Lloyd’s third-party AI came to our factory to witness the hydraulic test. In end of june, the air compressor used air storage tank was shipped from Qingdao Port, China to Manzanillo, Mexico.
